1. Initial Consultation & Photo Selection

  • From Your Photos: Everything starts with a simple conversation about your ideas and expectations. You can send me a few photos of the subject. Don’t worry if you’re not sure which photo is best—I will guide you on how to select or take high-quality reference photos with good lighting.

  • Live Sittings & Photoshoots: If you are located in Cantabria, Spain, or nearby areas, I would be delighted to meet in person! I can conduct a professional photoshoot for reference or paint directly from life (from nature).

2. Options & Composition

Portraits can be customized to your preference and budget. I can create:

  • Head and shoulders

  • Half-figure / Half-length

  • Full-length portrait

  • Multi-figure group portraits (family, couples, children)

3. Personal Quote & Sketch Approval

  • Pricing is tailored individually based on size, complexity, and the number of subjects, starting from €1600.

  • To begin, a 30% deposit is required.

  • Once reserved, I prepare a preliminary sketch to refine composition and details before painting begins.

4. Painting & Final Approval

I carefully craft your piece using professional-grade oil paints on premium canvas. Upon completion, I will share photos and video of the finished portrait for your final review and approval.

5. Completion & Worldwide Shipping

After the remaining balance is settled, your painting is securely and professionally packaged to ensure safe delivery right to your doorstep. Worldwide tracked shipping is available anywhere in the world!

  • Timeframe: The process typically takes 3–5 weeks, depending on complexity and canvas size.

  • Style & Palette: I am happy to adapt the style or color palette to perfectly match your preferences and interior space.

  • Your satisfaction is my priority. Once the 30% deposit is received, I create a preliminary sketch where we can make up to 2–3 rounds of revisions to composition, size, or details. Painting begins only after you fully approve the sketch.

  • Don't worry! You can send me several available photos, and I will help you choose the best options for reference. If needed, I can also combine details from different photos or guide you on how to take a simple new picture with good lighting using your smartphone.

  • Yes! If you are located in Cantabria or neighboring regions in Spain, we can arrange live sittings or an individual photo session to capture reference photos in person.

  • Oil paintings require utmost care. Each artwork is custom-packaged using protective layers, bubble wrap, and sturdy wood/cardboard framing to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. All shipments are fully insured and include a tracking number.

  • Because custom portraits are unique, personalized artworks created specifically for you, orders cannot be returned once shipped. However, to guarantee you love the outcome, I share high-resolution photos and videos of the completed painting for your final approval before shipping.

  • Yes, every original oil portrait comes signed by Oleg Koreyba and includes an official Certificate of Authenticity confirming its origin and hand-painted fine art status.
